I thought I’d try and do some fights with characters I’ve never used before, and one of them is the Martian Manhunter. However, I don’t have too many comics with him in it, much less fighting. Luckily, there is a comic where he fights a UFO. And I found some sprite sheets I can work with to create this week’s logo, because why should only the fights be unique.

The Promoters: Steve Vance (writer), John DeLaney (penciler), Ron Boyd (inker), Gasper (letterer), and Bob LeRose (colorist)
So some company started building a killer UFO and forgot to mention it to the new owners (allegedly, but it was never followed up on), gets started up, and starts blowing stuff up, as killer UFOs tend to do.

Also, his home was blown up, with the camcorder still inside.
J’onn J’ones goes to investigate and get a face full of fire for his trouble.

"And me without marshmellows."
For the uninformed, Martians take to fire like Kryptonians to Kryptonite. So he uses his intangibility and invisibility powers to get inside.

"Would you stop doing that?"
This turns out to be a stupid move on the computer’s part.

Yeah, I would go with that plan, too.
So really, not much of a fight. The ship ends up beating itself by accident, and will crash into one of those abandoned buildings cities conveniently place around the city to make these fight look cool. So being a kids comic, nobody gets hurt.

What, fire only weakens Martian kids, right?
Well, you can’t win them all, J’onn.
Oh, of course he saved them.
Also note that there won’t be a Friday Night Fight next week, as Spacebooger will be busy next week, and again on the 28th. I’ll try and put together something interesting, but no Best of FNF filler, as I’m on the last of the Bahlactus tournaments.
