Bumblebee, Jolt, and some other Autobots and NEST agents are transporting Soundwave, but his animal sidekicks force the plane down. As the battle begins, Ravage attempts to rescue Soundwave before the Initiative regains control of him and sends him on their mission. Realizing that the battle is causing too many casualties, Bumblebee regretfully releases Soundwave as the Autobot/NEST team make their getaway. Meanwhile, Galloway’s group going to investigate Hoover Dam and the old Sector 7 base are attacked by a biplane, mostly likely another Decepticon under the control of the Initiative. (Toy collectors probably know which one he is.)

What they got right: I have to give Furman credit here. He does write a decent all-out battle scene.

What they got wrong: The art as a whole didn’t impress me, but they did get the scene across well enough, so points there. And I still can’t get over how stupid the whole Initiative thing is.

Recommendation: At best, it’s decent for a Transformer comic completest like myself, but overall there’s nothing I can honestly recommend for the rest of you. Probably the best issue of the set thus far.

"I'm never using this airline again."
