One more Kickassia crossover snuck by after my top-6 list last week. So because I didn’t have time for a full article I want to be complete, we’ll give this an honorable mention. This one cameos pretty much every participant in the Kickassia movie, and why haven’t you seen it yet?
For last year’s brawl, Linkara and The Spoony One reviewed the first Warrior comic, and a horrible “Christmas” special that’s a blight on my favorite holiday. (Suffice it to say it will never be a Christmas Spotlight entry here.) I posted it previously as a Filler Video, where I noted that this was the only comic book (I had all four of the regular issues) that I threw in the trash.
I think this is going to do it for the Kickassia stuff, even if more show up after this. By the way, the female on Linkara’s futon in that one universe is Iron Liz (the one “introduced” in the closing credits). I don’t know if she’s planning her own review or not, but apparently she’s Lewis’s girlfriend.
Sorry, I just felt a strange disturbance in the fandom, as if a thousand fangirls cried out, and then silence. One question I need to ask, though is if they just reviewed two of the comics this year, and there is only one issue left, how are they going to drag out a third crossover at the next Anniversary?
Next week, I’ll work on an actual entry. Since I work Saturday’s now, I have to rework my blog writing schedule, and I’m terrible at switching gears.
