Sonic Universe #20

Tails and his friends must deal with the Mole Mech, and our hero’s attempt to befriend Speedy meets with failure. Still our heroes are able to save the day and sent the Battle Bird Armada into retreat…and into the path of Jet, Wave, and Storm (from the Sonic Riders game).
What they got right: As I’ve said in previous reviews, Tails is my favorite Sonic character and this arc did him justice. (Apparently others agree with me, as the Tails fanart contest I wish I was able to take part in had a lot of entries.) The action was good, Tails and T-Pup are a team I want to see again, and Antoine and Bunnie make a great couple.
What they got wrong: I have no complaints.
Recommendation: If you’re a Tails fan like I am, you will be well pleased with this comic. Also, please join me in calling for a Tails & T-Pup solo adventure.
Tomorrow’s Comic> The Tekwar Chronicles #7, which not only took a while to get out, but took me a while to be able to put in in my purchase rotation. Seriously, it’s been sitting in my pull folder for over a month at least.
