Ben, Gwen, and Kevin check out a new ride that goes through Ben’s story with the Omnitrix and Ultimatrix. However, the ride is attacked by Zombozo, one of Ben’s old enemies (from the first series). The trio easily take out the evil clown (why are there no GOOD clowns in comics?) and his robot versions of Ben’s Ultimate form aliens.

What they got right: Going to an alien from the original Ben 10 series was a good idea. The art matches the show and is well done.

What they got wrong: Maybe it was easier to ignore as a bunch of short stories, but now that this comic has full-length comic stories, can we get something more than some minor set-up to a big fight? I know it’s called “Action Pack”, but Commando had more story than this (adjusting for length). And how does do these people get so much backstory on Ben and the Omnitrix/Ultimatrix in these comics anyway? Has he really gotten THAT big a head?

Recommendation: I suppose it’s OK for younger fans of the show, but older fans may be better off sticking with the show.

To paraphrase Ben, no Best Scene for you.
