Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man (V2) #7

Wolverine and Kitty help Spidey with a workout to confirm he’s healed after his ordeal with Bullseye. Then the web-slinger is told that the head of the Torino wants to offer him a job. Spidey refuses and takes in a mutant debate, when trouble strikes.
What they got right: Aunt May gets a mention. I do like watching Peter on his downtime from time to time and see what his supporting cast is up to. I also like Peter’s speech to a wanna-be mutant in one scene.
What they got wrong: I think it’s time for the comic to get back to a full story rather than a series of moments in Peter’s life. I’m not liking Carter’s attitude in this story. I hope he’s not sliding into being a bad kid after all. The art isn’t bad, but it isn’t quite as good as it usually is.
Recommendation: I’m hoping the book gets back to being a Spider-Man story instead of “Peter Parker and his Amazing Friends”, but I’d still rather read this than the main title.
