The comic finally returns to the story when Bumblebee gets shot. The weapon used is a replica of Megatron. We also get a bit of some buy being talked to by his radio, which considering Soundwave later attacks the base to rescue a Constructicon is probably relevant. We later see a spot in South America where the weapons are being constructed…and they have a destroyed Megatron head?

I can’t do the usual layout here, because the comic as a whole just isn’t all that interesting. It’s not bad, it’s not really good, it’s just…there. This could be personal since I’m not really a fan of this arc. It makes sense, since humanity embracing the Autobots so quickly in light of recent events wouldn’t work. It’s the recent events that bug me. After the end of All Hail Megatron, why didn’t the Autobots and humans being to get along a bit. We wait two years (in story) before the new government-run Skywatch starts working with the Autobots and then events are set up to make that team-up even more unpopular with Earth. Why?

Am I wrong to want to eventually see the Autobots and humans getting along outside of the Movieverse and Animated Universe comics, which are adaptation comics? Why does every original Transformers comic universe have the humans targeting the Autobots with the same–if not MORE–gusto as the Decepticons?

I can’t really recommend the series based on personal preference. It’s not garbage, the art and story are well done, I guess. It’s the concept that keeps losing me. We should be drifting towards positive human/Autobot relations not away from it. Again. I’ve had enough of the worse, so let’s start heading towards the better.
