As you’ll recall, when it comes to “Fight Life” I’m just grabbing a comic at random and if it has any fight at all using it. Well, the majority of this week’s entry is one BIG fight, so I’ll give you the highlights. But here’s a teaser for the front page: resistance is futile!

Fight Life round 5

The Battlefield: Star Trek: Operation Assimilation (Marvel under the Paramount Comics imprint, December 1996

The Promoters: Paul Jenkins (writer), Steve “not the Crocodile Hunter” Erwin (layouts), Terry Pallot (finishes), Chris Eliopoulos (letterer), Moose Bauman (colorist), and Mark Paniccia (editor)

We start with a Romulan ship encountering the Borg. If you know anything about either group, you can guess what happens next.

At least they scratched the paint.

Of course, the Borg ship is able to regenerate (I’m not sure how that works) and the Borg board the Romulan ship.

The Borg cheat at Laser Tag.

They even try transporting of the Borg into space but soon the cybernetic “race” get onto the bridge.

Romulan commander Moliok later woke up in a hotel room bathtub in Encino with her liver missing.

So how do the Romulans defeat the Borg?

They don’t. You expected something else?
