Adventures of the Mask #10

Dark Horse Comics (October 1996)

WRITER: Michael Eury
ARTIST: Marc Campos
LETTERER: Clem Robins
COLORIST: Matt Webb
DESIGNER: Julie Gassaway
CREATOR/CONSULTING EDITOR: Mike Richardson
EDITOR: Scott Allie

Dober-Man returns, having served his time, and decides he wants to be the Mask’s sidekick. When the Mask tries to talk him out of it, the kid canine decides to tangle with Walter to prove himself.

What they got right: A criminal reforms? Dober-Man returns and breaks the usual trend of being a recurring villain. He would have made good recurring character on the show for that alone.

What they got wrong: Not making Dober-Man a character on the show.

Recommendation: Look back at what I’ve said the past 9 issues and apply it here.

Tomorrow’s (old) comic> Adventures of the Mask #11–almost done, folks. Wait until I get to Transformers and Robotech. Those are some long series.
