Amazonia finally meet Paul’s parents. Meanwhile, Abby organizes a promotional event while Mark’s accountant job keeps him busy as tax day draws near. This sends Charlotte into action to help her sister and brother-in-law.
What they got right: As usual the characters are strong and the art well done. We get to meet Darkblade’s parents and flesh out that character and relationship more. (Could a team up between former and current Darkblade be in the future?) Charlotte also steps up and provides a great ending to the mini-series.
What they got wrong: Being a mini-series. This would make a great ongoing and hopefully the sales numbers agree with me.
Recommendation: Buy the mini or the trade and convince IDW to continue this comic and not to leave it to the internet like they did The Dreamland Chronicles.
