With the Death Egg high in the sky, the Freedom Fighters and Ixis put their differences aside to attack Eggman. However, Eggman is prepared for pretty much everything they throw at them…and wins!
What they got right: Wow, Robotnik/Eggman really stepped up his game. I guess going insane was the best thing that happened to him.
What they got wrong: The comic seems headed for its own version of DC’s Flashpoint. I hope this is only a storyline, and not ending up with a reboot/relaunch/rewhateveritis like that series.
Recommendation: This was a good enough story, but I’m not sure about what they’re setting up. At any rate it should be a good jump-on point.
