The fine folks at Extra Credits recently had a falling out with The Escapist and are no longer posting new episodes on that site. In the meantime they have been putting videos up on YouTube. So to help keep them in the public eye and because I think the topic is one worth looking at (even if this one isn’t about storytelling directly), here’s part one of their look at the issue of gaming addiction.
No, this isn’t the new hosting site. I’ve noted my disagreements with the EC crew in the past and this site is all about my opinion. I do, however, hope the new home for Extra Credits treats them better. (And also that their regular artist, Allison, has her drawin’ arm back soon, as that’s where her career comes from.) Otherwise, I can’t really add to this video and will post part two next week.
