Introducing Artemis. Living in the poor side of Gotham City, Artemis is apparently being trained for something by her dad, but her mom wants out of “the life”. Wanting to prove herself, Artemis takes up a costume to fight crime, and comes upon Young Justice battling Amazo (from an episode of the show).

What they got right: The show writers return to bring us Artemis’ debut in the series. I’ve been wanting to see her in the title for a while now, as you can tell from some of my reviews. So far, they’ve done a good job with the story.

What they got wrong: Making me wait so long? Yeah, they don’t tell you a whole lot about who Artemis is in league with, but I think they’re saving that for the show.

Recommendation: If you’re a fan of the show, this fills in a few gaps of the episode “Schooled”, and that alone is worth the recommendation, but it’s a good story with cartoon-accurate artwork. So anyone should pick it up whether they’ve seen the show or not.

Now who pays for that?
