Dr. Light and Mega Man escort Dr. Wily to prison, but they are stopped by a Sniper Joe and the Wily robot Time Man. One of the detectives, however, thinks that Dr. Light is working with Wily. Meanwhile, Roll is kidnapped by Oil Man.

What they got right: Time Man and Oil Man come from the chibi remake of the original game known as Mega Man Powered Up. Since there’s no other place to use them, bringing them into a story that bridges the gap between the first two games (for example, how Wily returned) is a good idea. Also, addressing police concerns about how Wily was able to get the Robot Masters (the Megamix manga had the same idea) also makes sense. I also like the fun moments with Rock, Roll, and the restored Robot Masters. I just like seeing them as a family, which I never did until the aforementioned manga and this series.

What they got wrong: If I really have to put something here, the art quality kind of went down a bit. Not that it’s bad because it isn’t and covering Oil Man’s controversial lips was a good move on their part. However, it’s not as good as the first arc and I suppose that should be noted.

Recommendation: A great comic for any Mega Man fan, or someone looking for a good all-ages story with robots.

"Humans." "Aren't you one, Dr. Light?" "Never mind, son."
