Megatron has not only escaped his prison aboard Omega Supreme but summoned his forces from Earth. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime continues to chase after Galvatron, who plans to blow up Cybertron’s core to stop D-Void. Unfortunately, he seems to have already started taking control of Transformers on all three sides.

What they got right: The story continues to be interesting, with three sides (four if you count D-Void) battling each other, and some teaming up.

What they got wrong: There are some stretches to get everyone (not involved in the other storyline) onto Cybertron, including Devastator, to deal with one of the Constructicons being killed. I also still can’t enjoy this painted style for the Cybertron arc. It doesn’t feel like I’m reading a comic book, but some failed attempt to make a sequential art book. There are still panels where I can’t figure out what they’re doing.

Recommendation: The story’s getting sort of good, but the art really pulls you away from the story. Hard to recommend, but it’s not bad enough to unrecommend it.

I can, however, not find something Best Scene worthy based on the art style.
