The team are defeated by the guy in the samurai outfit and fail to stop the next set of killings. However, it puts them on the track to find the actually guilty party…or do they?
What they got right: They weave a good mystery, and although the next story will pretty much have the villain revealed I wonder how they uncover his plot. That’s assuming that’s what the next issue will be about.
What they got wrong: Which according to the solicit for the next issue it isn’t. Also, it looks like they wanted to have Superboy deal with the fact that some guy was able to cut him with a sword, but they never really do anything with it and it gets waved off rather easily.
Recommendation: I hope they do come back to this story at some point, because I’m not that pleased with how it ended. However, it’s a good read and worth checking out.
Not surprisingly, Wally plays a lot of Sonic The Hedgehog.
