This has nothing to do with my cousin.

I actually looked up “myrrh” on Wikipedia and apparently there are some medicinal uses for myrrh besides embalming. Had to adjust the second panel accordingly. Otherwise, comic speaks for itself, really. Although if you click on it you can see the behind-the-scenes page.

Quick notes: There won’t be any Clutter Report until after the new year. While I need to organize my desk (again) I’m backing off of the big projects because the holidays are a bit frantic. Also, I have to work on this year’s Christmas comic special. I was hoping to do something with the RU crew but nothing seemed to happened on that end, so I have a mini-comic not featuring Jake & Leon I’m going to put together. So I may just do some Christmas filler posts.

To that end, I won’t get to the full review of Transformers: Rescue Bots until the week after Christmas so here’s a quick review. While I won’t rank it as one of my favorites, I thought it was a well done two-part opener. There are things I’d like to see (no, not Decepticons, this show goes in a different direction–maybe) but I do like the concept and done right it may well be a welcome addition to the Transformers multiverse.

There is a video interview I want to get done by Friday, though. I had the opportunity to interview comic writer/artist Billy Tucci and the only reason I really want it up this week is that he was promoting his new Nativity comic, A Child Is Born. I actually learned a few interesting NON-comic tidbits about Jesus’ birth and the wise men, but also something about World War II as he was also promoting a Sgt. Rock graphic novel he produced last year. It’s a great interview.

Speaking of videos, the BW Video Review I should have planned better will air Christmas Eve. Here’s a head’s up: the review will be on a Rankin/Bass special I haven’t heard of until a few years ago called Cricket On The Hearth. My sound quality is terrible but it’s still an improvement over Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah in visual quality and writing/editing. Hopefully my next video review will be even better. And I’ll have an external mic hooked up. This will also be my first video for Reviewers Unknown so I’m pretty curious about how it will be received. I’m certainly no Cartoon Hero.

• Reviewers Unknown: Speaking of RU, I did manage to put something up. These past few week my Clutter Report review of the Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas Sleigh has gotten a lot of hits. So I hope I’m not pulling too many readers away from there by posting a version a RU. Who will the search engines grab first, I wonder? I can’t see my personal stats on there. That’s why I don’t know if anyone even read my Chapter By Chapter intro article so I don’t know if it’s worth continuing there.
