Young Justice #16
DC Comics (July, 2012)
“COMMON DENOMINATORS” WRITERS: Kevin Hopps & Greg Weisman ARTIST: Christopher Jones COLORIST: Zac Atkinson LETTERER: Dezi Sienty ASSISTANT EDITOR: Sarah Gaydos EDITOR: Jim Chadwick
Robin, Kid Flash, and Artemis join their mentors in tracking down criminals from the same group. Who are they and what are they after?
What they got right: There are no attempts to set up events in the cartoon that have long since happened and have no bearing on the current story, a problem with the previous story arc. I like seeing the YJ’s working with their JL mentors.
What they got wrong: I really have nothing to add here. This was a really good story.
Recommendation: This is one of the best hero team-up stories I’ve read in a while, at least since the New 52. If you remember a time when DC heroes were fun to read about and want those days back, support this title whether you have kids or watch the show or neither.

Still the coolest cape in comics: Batman!
What, you thought I was going for the “top of the world” joke? Been done to death.
