I really didn’t have the urge to check out E3 coverage this year, but there is one game I’m interested in, me being me and all. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is said to be about how the Transformers ended up leaving Cybertron and eventually coming to Earth. At E3 they released a brand new trailer and have put together some early gameplay footage for fans. Let’s take a look.

With Trypticon appearing in the last game, it makes sense that Metroplex (great voice, by the way) would make an appearance here. (Although I’m sure there are more than a few fans would like to playas either Metroplex or Trypticon.) Cinematic trailers are fine and all, but we want to see some gameplay. Will the game be as good as the original?

Keeps getting better, although there is one thing I’ve heard that annoys me. Bumblebee will lose his voice in this game and all I can say is

DARN YOU MICHAEL BAY!

Dan Gilvezan added personality to Bumblebee. Johnny Yong Bosh did a great job with the character in the first game, and Mark Ryan may have only gotten one line in the first movie but in connected works like the “Beginnings” video for Wal-Mart’s exclusive of the first film on DVD he showed he could play the role.

However, since Bay decided he liked the part where Bee couldn’t talk he insisted it be left in the movie. Now this has become canon–like my other complaint of a dead Cybertron, but I think that was IDW’s doing–for the character and I am less than happy about it. Otherwise the game looks great and I’m looking forward to it. If I can finish WAR For Cybertron in time. So much to do.
