The Avengers are currently in the “last chance” theaters, but they’re still in our hearts. Not so much some of our comic shelves because Bendis may be a good writer, but not when it comes to The Avengers. The last time I read a good Avengers story was when Paul Tobin was working on the Marvel Adventures version. For tonight’s fight, we return to those days as the Mandarin kidnaps an entire classroom.

And then we see how the Mandarin captured Luke Cage, Storm, Spider-Man, and the Hulk and absorbed their powers into his robot. Because that plan neeeeeever fails.
