Sally’s still upset that she isn’t in the Mario & Sonic games, isn’t she?
Sonic the Hedgehog #238
Archie Comics (August, 2012)
WRITER: Ian Flynn INKER: Terry Austin COLORIST: Matt Herms LETTERER: John Workman COVER: Yardley, Austin, & Herms ASSISTANT EDITOR: Vincent Lovallo EDITOR: Paul Kaminski “Loyalty” part 2 “Dire Choices” PENCILER: Steven Butler “Foundation Work” PENCILER: Evan StanleyTeam Fighters and the wolf girls break into the prison to rescue “the queen” and Lupe. This means that Tails must confront Sally while placing a tracking device on the Death Egg. In the back-up story, Director Who begins setting up his new HQ and bringing in new members. (This takes place prior to Sonic Universe #41.)
What they got right: The usual stuff. The action is good and it’s nice to see that our heroes know they must fight Sally if they hope to save her. Plus Lyco and Leeta are good fighters and there’s also some character potential, so I’m glad we haven’t seen the last of them.
What they got wrong: Maybe they should have held back on the “Secret Freedom Fighters” storyline over at Universe if they’re still setting things up here.
Recommendation: I still enjoy this series, and you should at least give it a look. Also, I still want my Tails & T-Pup solo adventure.

At least one of you, if only briefly, became a furry.
