Muppets#3
Marvel/Disney Comics (November, 2012)
“The Four Seasons” part 3; “Fall” WRITER/ARTIST: Roger Langridge COLORS: Kawaii Creative Studio LETTERS: Litomilano S.r.l. COVER ARTISTS: Elisabetta Melaranci & Mirka Andolfo
Pops is being retired by the Stage Doorman’s Union, and the gang is trying to find a way to get him to stay. Pops trains his nephew to take over.
Skits include Rizzo badly acting a nightmare sketch, Pops having a memory that ends up helping his situation and later a dance number, a really bad poetry reading and Pigs In Space.
What they got right: Pretty much everything they usually get right. There’s only one music number, because those don’t work in comic form.
What they got wrong: I know the poem was SUPPOSED to be bad, but I couldn’t even get through it. The joke kind of fell flat.
Recommendation: Unless another publisher picks up the series (perhaps sending it back to Boom?), this is Langridge’s last Muppets comic. Trust me, that’s enough to get this. He gets The Muppet Show.

Wait, are they a couple or not? I’m confused.
