Transformers: Robots In Disguise #9

Bumblebee tries to get Blurr’s help when Ironhide and the Dinobots go missing while Sky Lynx is all messed up. In the forest, the Dinobots has gone mad and Ironhide learns the fate of the Aerialbots. (See “Best Scene” spoilers) Back at Iacon, Turmoil’s time-shifting ship disappears.

What they got right: The art is really good. Bumblebee especially.

What they got wrong: Speaking of Bumblebee, I’m not sure I like where the character is going. He’s not as screwed-up as Prowl, but he’s starting to lose some of what makes Da Bee special to me. I wasn’t a fan of his becoming leader, but I didn’t think he’d be taking the turns he appears to be. Also…still not a fan of the Dinobot designs.

Recommendation: Of the current Transformers titles, none are really what I’m looking for, but this seems to be the most harmless. Best I can do here.
