The (hopefully) remainder of Helena and Karen’s backstory are completed as the heroes make their last stand against Hakkou. But the ladies are left wondering what the reason for his attack was and what other changes in the laws of physics exist between universes.
What they got right: While one tends to question the “overload” strategy I believe it her, at least while I’m reading. I still enjoy the interactions between our heroines both in and out of costume. And for fans, we get a nod to the pre-52 “boob window”, which I don’t miss from the new costume.
What they got wrong: Power Girl seems to a bit too into the fellas. It doesn’t say she’s sleeping with them (maybe she’s a window shopper?) but this being the New 52 and Levitz only created Huntress, it’s quite possible she’s doing more than looking while stealing the tech she needs to build a way back to Earth-2.
Recommendation: Currently the only New 52 book I’m reading. I’m hoping the next arc doesn’t drop like Justice League International did.
Would it have hurt you guys to do this on one page? This is two panels over two pages. Best Scene it may be, but really guys?
