Naugus wants to control the minds of Council as part of his ultimate goal of restoring the Order of Ixis. However, the Secret Freedom Fighters (and secretly Geoffrey) work to halt his plans. Later, Silver may finally learn who the traitor he’s sought for so long and across time may be.
What they got right: Between the action of the SFF/Ixis fight and the fun of Lightning Lynx using his hexes to protect the Council, I had a lot of fun with this book.
What they got wrong: So is Geoffrey against Naugus completely or just this plan? I’m not sure where he stands, and I need to know if I should keep hating…oh, who am I kidding. I hate him regardless.
Recommendation: The epilogue to the arc comes in the main title, but I like how this one turned out. Worth a read and hopefully the Secret Freedom Fighters will be back.
Naugus has been feeling a bit run down lately. (Sorry, it was all I could come up with.)
