Fury Of Firestorm #18
DC Comics (May, 2013)
“Problems Multiplied” WRITER/PENCILER: Dan Jurgens INKERS: Ray McCarthy & Karl Kesel LETTERER: Travis Lanham COLORS: Hi-Fi ASSISTANT EDITOR: Anthony Marques EDITOR: Mike Cotton
Firestorm is on the warpath to find Ronnie’s mother, but the real culprit is Multiplex. And he’s leading Firestorm into a trap, but he has “friends” in the shadows.
What they got right: Unless he showed up in the issues I ignored for not being what I expect in a Firestorm comic, it’s about time some of Firestorm’s old foes ended up in the New 52, since Multiplex was one of his arch enemies (mostly thanks to Professor Stein who was in Jason’s “chair”). So it’s nice to finally see a version of him in the New 52, and one that was actually quite close to his predecessor. And more fun and games with Skull Crusher and Relay.
What they got wrong: So is this a shadow organization we’ve already seen or a new one? Really, DC, do we need to stage an intervention? And why DIDN’T Multiplex tell his new pals about Firestorm’s secret identity…or in this case identities?
Recommendation: DC keeps killing off good titles. Jurgens needs a title to shine on and if it won’t be Superman (mistake) it should be this one. Uncancel this, Didio!

Multiplex did not show up earlier.
Also I believe that is the same shadow organization. Or it’s a villains’ “legion of doom” style group.
