I went to the Rifftrax Live showing of Starship Troopers that aired in theaters around the US and for the first time in Canada. The riffs were funny and the movie itself isn’t that bad. And for those of you who did go, wouldn’t you like to see more Gorilla Gram censoring? (If you really want to see Dina Meyer’s bare breasts you could always buy the movie, right?)
Speaking of Starship Troopers, I wonder if I could get Reviewers Unknown colleague Rowdy C. Moore to do a crossover review of the Roughnecks cartoon. Considering he likes it, or it would just be us debating the show because when the uncanny valley didn’t come into play I liked it. Speaking of RU, they go the R2D2 video I posted yesterday.

Who says all-ages comics can’t do drama? Roll’s a robot and I still care more about her than some of these “adult” characters. Another short work week so I’m hoping to finish up the videos from last year’s ComiCONN before this weekend and THIS year’s ComiConn. More interviews to follow.
