Freddie Wong and his team have shown up on this site more than once. He and his counterparts at Corridor Digital put on great action comedy shorts using visual effects. Sam and Neko of Corridor Digital have talked on their behind the scenes page about the Red Scarlett camera and how good it’s suppose to be. My video needs are rather small so I don’t need something that high-end, or that expensive.
However, for you amateur filmmakers they highly recommend it. Then you have that price thing again. I can’t get Amazon to bring the darn things up, I think you have to buy it directly from Red, and look at the price for this one! That’s high-end professional stuff. I certainly don’t need it but if sounds like a must-have for you, Freddie Wong and MOGA Android-device controllers are opening a video contest for to check out.
