Acculturated contributor Bryan Dik has been looking at life lessons we can gather from superheroes. In this one, he connects the calling of the hero, specifically the superheroes, with how many people feel a calling to a certain job or charity. What makes this a BW link is that he notes many motivations to becoming a superhero but, unlike certain comics writers/editor/creative directors, has reasons other than revenge for a loved one’s murder as his motivation. So not everyone has to be Batman!
