Sometimes fans demand that creator listen and implement what they want done no matter how it would ruin the creator’s vision, intent, or preferences. (How many romance writers want to burn every slashfic ever that isn’t the characters they’ve been planning to put together for the last eighteen stories?) However, sometimes the creators see something a fan or group came up with and find inspiration. It happens in video games (Diablo–twice–, Mortal Kombat, and Bioshock Infinite), TV (Breaking Bad and Star Trek) and even comics (that stupid “Gwen slept with Norman Osborn” thing in Spider-Man, and even that’s only a partial fix) What were those ideas?
