The first two graphic novels I reviewed contained all of part one, while the next two had parts 2 and 3 respectively. The rest of Viz’s run I was able to get in regular comic format and that’s how I’ll be reviewing it.

After the events of the previous chapter, Sho and Mizuki appear to be the only one left. As Gyro recovers at Relics Point, the Zoanoid soldiers hunt down the teens, but Aptom is still out there. And why is Agito still there and proclaiming Sho his prey?
What they got right: While I’m hoping everyone got out okay, I like how they’re drawing it out a bit keeping the readers in the dark with the characters.
What they got wrong: The only problem, as I would later learn since the GNs were obtained later, is that converting the Japanese style to a US-sized comic has the problem of it being too short. Manga in Japan are done in the digest size, just with a lot more pages, and the art and size of the story reflect that. Unlike the “otaku” I don’t mind the art flipped to the more traditional (to me) left to right rather than the traditional (to Japan) right to left, but I’m thinking the digest form is the way to go.
Recommendation: If you must have it in this size, then go for it. It’s just going to be a bit shorter than you’re used to, even by today’s padded for the trades style.
