Jet Jaguar rescues Woods and Chavez, and one of the threats betrays the other. Then they launch their attack, which includes setting Biollante against Godzilla.
What they got right: The monster fights are as amazing as always. I couldn’t even choose one moment for Best Scene. Just the entire Godzilla/Biollante fight.
What they got wrong: This is a fanboy nitpick, but why is Biolante now the creation of underwater aliens? Sure you could make the case that it’s better than a scientist who was trying to resurrect his daughter as a plant, and it’s not as bad as making King Ghidorah into a guardian monster of Earth, but it still bothered me.
Recommendation: Still a great comic for any kaiju fan.
