I’ve never heard of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, but I don’t live in Ohio, either. I also haven’t heard of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. However, the two will be working together. The University’s website is reporting that Professor Dan Younger, a comics instructor at the University, has worked to have the comics created in his class not only sold at the school’s bookstore but preserved at the museum. I do agree with Avi Green of Four Color Media Monitor that the writer of the article made a bad comment about comics, though.
Hmm..I wonder if I’ll ever produce something worthy of being preserved at a museum?
