The meeting Zoalords (with the exception of Gyro, Valkus, and their leader, Alkanphel, decide to go to Japan and challenge Gyro, who has obtained a device from the relic dubbed “The Remover”. Meanwhile, our heroes are happy to see Murakami back among them but Mizuki overhears that it may not be for long.
What they got right: With the alien mystery relatively complete it’s time to turn to Chronos, the organization claiming to following in their footsteps. While this restricts the heroes to bit parts for the past few issues I don’t have a problem with it so we can learn more about the villains they’ll be fighting. And they’re properly evil.
What they got wrong: I don’t have any complaints for this issue.
Recommendation: Still pushing for the trade collection but this is still a great comic. Not for kids in any way, though.
