In the Astro City universe, the stand-in for Doctor Strange is the Silver Adept, and the stand-in for Wong is Raitha, her assistant and secretary. This is not an easy job when you have to find spells and appease interdimensional beings.
What they got right: I like the office approach to Raitha’s job, even referring to one problem as a clerical error. It’s organized but problems still come up and Raitha does a good job handling things like a good assistant. It also made this stuff fun…for the reader, anyway. Raitha seems to like her job, at least.
What they got wrong: We learn how Raitha felt about moving Silver Adept’s operation to Astro City, we learn about some of her hobbies and a showing at a gallery. Did I miss her last name? Because that seems strange to leave off with all this other interesting content about her.
Recommendation: A good one-shot after the long story arc. Worth picking up.
