The Triceraton Raphael came across is Zog, the one who snuck off when the Turtles fought them in the TCRI building. Dieing in Earth’s atmosphere, Zog has kind of lost it, and the Turtles use him to break into the Foot headquarters. However, Zog meets his maker early when the group comes across…three misshapen Shredders?
What they got right: I had wondered if they remembered the Triceraton who snuck off all those issues ago (which I didn’t review because I have a trade that I didn’t think to review at the time–if you folks want I could do a Scanning My Collection article on it), but here he is, and they remembered the difference in atmospheres.
What they got wrong: There’s a double splash page that is just a close-up of Zog’s eyes. A single splash page may have even been a bit much but a double one is wasting space.
Recommendation: A heavy action chapter in the multi-parter story. Worth looking into if you like fights and laser blasts.
