Cassandra Cain is a character I think got the shaft. Barbara had retired as Batgirl and did more to help the Bat crew and other superheroes as Oracle. Stephanie Brown had also been Robin but she created her own identity as the Spoiler. Cassandra Cain had been Batgirl from the start and she was a character I found interesting at concept. What little I’ve seen of her showed her potential. And yet she’s the only Bat Family member still sitting in the forgotten character jail. I seldom see her cosplayed (in fact I don’t remember seeing one) but the Stephanie Brown and new Barbara Gordon 52 costume are easy to find. So what the heck happened?
