For just being silly.
Bleeding Cool‘s Rich Johnson is reporting that Joe Books is going to resume the Darkwing Duck comics…but the first editor of Boom’s stories (who was replaced during the run) plans to rewrite the stories presented in the Boom run and Ian Brill, who wrote all of the comics isn’t happy. I don’t blame him. Those were great Darkwing Duck stories, even past my bias against “reunion” stories. I’m also wondering why Disney isn’t using Marvel to do the Darkwing Duck comics or resuming their license with Boom kids imprint Kaboom instead of going with yet another third party, or at least bringing back the excellent team from that book?
