Filler Video: The He-Man/Blackstar Connection

Blackstar was a Saturday morning cartoon produced by Filmation for CBS. I covered it for one of my Filmation tributes as the last two creators passed on months apart. In that posting I noted that the Powerstar splitting into the Power and Star Swords may have influenced Filmation’s decision to change this part of the Power Sword’s story in the Masters Of The Universe cartoon. James Eatock of the Official He-Man YouTube Channel found even more connections between John Blackstar and Prince Adam.

Side note: For some reason I keep thinking Blackstar is spelled with two Rs when it isn’t. I blame Bravestarr.
