The Fine Brothers’ “Kids React” series has kids looking at tech from when I was a kid and sometimes even younger. In this installment, the kids are trying to figure out how to put a VHS tape in a VCR. You will either laugh at their failings, feel old, or both.

And the kids have more to learn in the bonus video.

    I still have a CD/VCR player because even though I mostly have DVDS, I still have a few VHS tapes. What’s the name of that cartoon that’s featured in the above part about this thread? It looks like something I used to watch on Nickelodeon in 1987.

      If you mean the “featured image” that doesn’t appear on this page (it’s in links to the article for those of you coming to the site directly) it’s from Mysterious Cities Of Gold. It’s left over from a Saturday Night Showcase since the old show is on Nickelodeon and a continuation was recently produced. (Hopefully that gets an English release in the states.)
