Oh, there are lot of interesting origins in Luis Prada’s article for Cracked, like how the Millennium Falcon was brought on by fast food, or Ursala from The Little Mermaid based on a drag queen, among others. But the one that interested me as a Crohn’s sufferer is that the chestburster’s existence can be traced to inflammation. Yeah, I have those days, too.
