Gigantor #3

“Can Gigantor come out to play?”

Dick Strong takes up the rest of the tale, as Jimmy and Gigantor take out the Iron Empire’s robot. Back in present day, the Iron Ox arrives at the UN in New York, where Jimmy and Inspector Blooper happen to be. But it’s warning is a prelude to a beam of light causing a huge explosion.

What they got right: The robot fight was worth the wait. Gigantor’s fight with Goliath looked good, and while I get tired of tragic backstories it does explain why Jimmy is the one allowed to control Gigantor and why he lives with Bob Brilliant.

What they got wrong: Professor Quantum and Grand Zoom have their fight off-panel, further proving that the Fantastic Four homages were unnecessary.

Recommendation: I may not have a lot to say on this one, but it’s something you need to read.
