Jimmy takes Gigantor out to battle but something is wrong. There’s some strange dirt on Gigantor’s foot, the controls are sluggish, and the Iron Ox (or Bull, depending on which Iron Empire guy you talk to) smashes through it like a cheap knockoff. That’s because it IS a cheap knockoff, built by a third party on the moon who wants to take control of Earth for himself!
What they got right: It’s a good setup for the next arc, and I’m curious how our new baddie was able to get Gigantor and the control box from where it was hidden. You’d think someone who hear it take off at least.
What they got wrong: This felt so short. I think it’s the use of so many large panels, although all-fight issues tend to feel short anyway.
Recommendation: I’m still enjoying this series. Give it a read.
