I never got into The X-Files. It’s just too dark and conspiracy-laden for me. However, in an interview with Previews, Joe Harris (who currently writes the comic version for IDW) mentions the importance of respecting the source while still trying to make your mark on the series. If only all writers, including shared universe writers, would understand that. The main focus of the article, though, is the discussion of the upcoming “Season 11” comics, so prepare for potential partial spoilers.
