Luke is rescued by Lando but when Luke finds out Leia went to Coruscant to talk to the leader of Black Sun. Meanwhile, Vader gets circumstantial evidence that Black Sun is out to kill Luke and heads back to Coruscant. And of course Leia and Chewbacca are already there, where Xizor tries to seduce Leia, but after Chewbacca rescues her Leia comes up with a plan to get Chewie to escape and figures out Xizor’s talent, thus being able to fight him off. So the crime boss decides to use her as bait for Luke. Finally, Boba Fett has a plan to use Zuckuss to insure he makes the delivery to Jabba.
What they got right: Show, don’t tell. As Xizor woos Leia his skin changes color to match hers, like a chameleon. While Luke is becoming a Jedi he still needs help from his friends.
What they got wrong: The subplot with Boba Fett trying to get Han to Jabba was in the book but it feels unnecessary in the comic. This issue it seems to be there just to remind us this story is still playing out.
Recommendation: Yes, I still think you should get this, and the novel.
