Based on my actual trip to my cousin’s lakeside cabin.
This actually happened. I went to my cousin’s lakeside cabin for Independence Day this year because I had never been to the cabin before. (I usually go to a different cousin’s place for the 4th.) One of the things they told me was how great the fireworks were because they shot off at different places around the lake. But there was no finale; the fireworks just petered out. It was cool at first but underwhelming by the end.
This week (except for Batman: The Animated Bible so it isn’t preempted for TWO weeks) is Filler Videos because I need to prepare for ConnectiCon 2015 and Saturday relaxed me so much that I didn’t get much done today. (It’s actually a good thing that the comic didn’t get done because I wouldn’t have been able to use this gag.) Next week will be photos and video from ConnectiCon, although since I can’t afford a hotel room again I’ll miss some Press Junkets. I’ll record as many as I can, though, plus interviews from the dealer’s area, panels, and cosplayers. Lost of cosplayers. Hope to see some of you there!
