Batman & Robin Adventures #10

For someone so concerned about the environment, Ra’s is a litterbug.

It seems Talia’s attempted kidnapping last issue was actually to stop her father’s latest plan. Since Batgirl stopped that she turns to Batman for help. Going to the island, Batman is able to destroy the mutated virus Ra’s planned to use to kill the human race and with the help of Robin and the Batplane catch up to Ubu before he can deliver the rest.

What they got right: I like little things like Batman and Robin having a secret code word for “follow us from behind without being spotted” that can be hidden mentioning a case. This story also continues nicely from the previous issue without needing it to follow this one.

What they got wrong: Underling 1 tells guard 1 that they have to search, and when guard 1 asks what they’re looking for, underling 1 chides him for asking questions. He’s rather useless if he doesn’t know to look for Batman, dummy. I thought Ra’s had the smarter thugs of the Bat foes?

Recommendation: A good story that matches with the previous issue although it isn’t required (I did recommend that one, though). It’s a bit short but worth picking up.
