When DC has a superhero’s anniversary the same year as a movie, you have to wait until that movie comes out to celebrate it. It happened with Batman’s 50th and Superman’s 75th. But while the new Captain America movie isn’t coming until May, the comic character that debuted in March, 1941 (or at least that’s the cover date) is getting an entire special courtesy of Marvel and ABC (instead of just some YouTube animated shorts you only saw if you heard about them on a comics blog) right at the start of the year, or at least January 19th. Comic Book Resources proves that Marvel/Disney again does something better than DC/Warner Brothers.
