The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang

80s kids may barely remember ABC’s Saturday morning show The Fonz And The Happy Days Gang, in which a time-travelling ditz named Cupcake (because even in the future it’s 1957) accidentally brings Fonz, Richie, Ralph, and Fonzie’s semi-anthropomorphic dog Mr. Cool (remember him on Happy Days?) travelling through time in her time-travelling flying saucer. But was this intended to be an American Doctor Who cartoon? Brian Cronin of Legends Revealed settles the myth once and for all!

Yes, I remember the Fonz and the Happy Days Gang cartoon. That was an interesting theory concerning a Dr. Who cartoon, but as proven in the article that is false. Still, I do wonder what it would have been like to have a Dr. Who cartoon on television in the 1980s. I predict that such a cartoon would have featured the Tom Baker doctor and also would have had K-9 in it.
