I mentioned misgivings about Shin Godzilla, aka Godzilla: Resurgence, but I still really want to check it out. Even if I don’t like it as Godzilla I still enjoyed the Rowland Emmerich movie (although it was the Fox Kids cartoon that made him really work) so I can take a decent monster and alter my headcanon around it. We finally have a limited movie release date thanks to movie ticket site Fandango, as reported by ICv2. Sadly, between lack of funds and potential surgery recovery, outpatient or not, my odds of seeing it are slim. Anyone have some spare cash and a wheelchair? 🙂
BW Media Spotlight 
You can always wait for the DVD to arrive at your local library. Sometimes it’s better to see it that way instead of dealing with crowds at the movie theater. Plus, you can pause the movie when needed by watching it at home. That’s not possible at a cinema.

There’s something to be said for getting together with a bunch of other G-Fans and seeing it in person. I did that for the 90s version (you were there for that with our friend) and Godzilla 2000.
